Role: Physiotherapist

Locations: Southampton

Hours: As this is a community based role you must firstly be happy driving in and around Southampton, be willing to cover three different shift patterns, 5 days out of 7 .

Salary:  From £32,000

Car Allowance: Company car or car allowance £4887.50

Job Type: Permanent

Other: A full UK driving licence is essential as regional travel will be required to visit patients at home

Summary

These community based roles allow you to deliver one to one care in the comfort of the patient’s home to facilitate early supported transfer from hospital or to prevent unnecessary admission.  You will have the chance to build lasting relationships with patients, stakeholders and support networks to aide and support their treatment and recovery.

A typical day as a Physiotherapist will consist of:

– Conducting comprehensive holistic assessments of patients
– Formulating individualised physiotherapy treatment plans
– Deliver physiotherapy sessions in home or community settings to maximise patient independence.
– Educate patients and carers on the correct use of mobility and functional equipment.

A full UK driving licence is  essential as regional travel will be required to visit patients at home.

Additional to this we will require evidence of the following:

– Previous community experience or a track record of working autonomously
– Experience in an acute care setting
– HCPC registration
– Strong IT skills
