Role: Registered Nurse

Locations: Southampton OR Plymouth (The client is happy for you to be based in Plymouth or Southampton, please note you may need to travel to one or the other to see patients)

Hours: 37.5 hours with a rota for weekends you will be paid 30% extra (Based on 5 days per week) – They may consider 4 days per week but would require flexibility on which days.

Salary:  £34,000 – £39,000

Car Allowance: Company car or car allowance £4887.50

Other: A full UK driving licence is essential as regional travel will be required to visit patients at home

Summary

We are looking for a Registered Nurse in Southampton OR Plymouth.  We are looking for a talented, patient focused clinician to join our fantastic team working in partnership with a local Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver gold standard, one to one, holistic care in the comfort of the patient’s home.

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering one to one care in line with the patient’s needs, whilst maintaining professional standards and following the relevant care plan. Deliver effective and high quality nursing care to patients in a home environment to facilitate early supported transfer from hospital or to prevent unnecessary admission.  You will be building lasting relationships with patients, stakeholders and patient support networks to aide and support patients treatment and recovery.  Accurately document all patient care and clinical observations to provide real time data to assist with long-term goals of the business and the patient.

As this is a community based role you must firstly be happy driving in and around Southampton and Plymouth and be willing to cover three different shifts over a 7 day period.

Additional to this we will require evidence of the following:

– Previous community experience (an advantage)
– Venepuncture
– Administrating IV therapies
– Wound Care
– General nursing
